Yes!! With Vista and Windows 7 you may need to run Photo Jurni in Administrator Mode. You must also be in administrator mode to install new designs into the Photo Jurni program. Sorry right now Norton is a bit too picky, we have notified them this is not a threat. We are unsure how long updating and allow this safe content, so in the mean time try this. You will look to the lower right corner of your screen where the icons are, (your volume control, internet ...) and here you will see the yellow round icon for your Norton. Right click on this icon and then choose "Disable Smart Firewall" and disable this for 15 or 30 minutes. Then you will right click on this same icon again and choose "Disable Anti-Virus" and disable this for 15 or 30 minutes. Then go back to our website and re-download and save the packs that would not download before, and then you should be able to "Run" these and install them into your program. If this work around does not work for you please contact our support department for additional help.

Q: Can I add additional backgrounds to create a layered effect or paper strips?
Yes, choose Add as Additional Background on the same window after you choose your paper. See tutorials for more information.

You can print at home with Photo Jurni Deluxe. If you have the FREE version you can upgrade at any time.

Photo Jurni is licensed for personal use, however you can purchase a professional license for that purpose. You must also have a professional license or commercial license for any of the digital content used.

All albums are saved, unless specified otherwise, in your Documents folder under PJAlbums.

Q: How do I pick my album size, I only see shapes?
When you start an album you are asked to select a shape (square, portrait or landscape). Then when you are ready to print you select a size. This time saving feature allows you to create one album and share it in many sizes giving you the most flexibility.

Q: What is a QuickPage?
A QuickPage is a pre-designed layout that is flattened. You are not able to change the layout, but you can add additional elements like photos and embellishments. A QuickMix can be a collection of coordinating QuickPages, called a QuickPage QuickMix.

Q: What is a QuickMix?
A QuickMix is a collection of pre-designed layouts that are customizable. You can rearrange, reposition, resize and delete page elements.

Q: What is the difference between a QuickMix & and QuickPage?
The only difference is the ability to edit the layouts. QuickPages are flattened and do not allow customization other than adding elements.

Q: Can you personalize QuickMixes?
Yes, QuickMixes are easy to edit as you choose.

Q: Can I copy text from a word document into Photo Jurni?
Yes. Open your “Word” document with the desired text. Open Photo Jurni to the page that you want to add the text to. Click on the “Text” menu and then Add Text. Set your font and font size as desired. You will then go to your “Word” document and highlight the text that you want to copy. Once the text is highlighted click “Ctrl + C”. The text is now saved on your clipboard. Next go to your Photo Jurni album and put your cursor in the add text section and press “Ctrl +V”. This will copy the text from your clipboard and place it in a text field on your page.

Q: What do I do if I double click on a photo box to add a photo, and nothing happens?
MemoryMixer works in layers (for more information about layers, see tutorials and definitions) just as adding photos to a photo album. Notice which tool drawer opens on the left hand side as you try to click on the photo box. If the embellishment drawer opens, you will know there is an element sitting on top of the photo box. You can simply move the item off to the side or send it down a layer(s) to have access to the photo box.

Q: Can I add more designs/ themes to Photo Jurni?
Yes you will find additional QuickMixes, backgrounds, embelishments, etc in the Photo Jurni store. All MemoryMixer content is also compatible with Photo Jurni.

Can I give Photo Jurni free content or Freebies to others? Unfortunately, no. Just because Photo Jurni has the right to give its content away free, doesn’t mean it’s OK for you to give it away free – sorry. The reason is, we provide free content to have new Members register (for free) on Photo Jurni and to ensure the Designer is recognized in the process. It is OK for you to post links to our download page or the page of a specific designer on Photo Jurni, and for others to Register and download the designs direct from us. How do I install a QuickMix

Login in to your account and go to your Purchased Designs area. Find the design that you want to install and click the link that corresponds to your operating system and follow the instructions.
PC
A File Download dialog should appear (depends on browser)
Click on the Save button and save it to a location on your hard drive.
Once the file has been saved to your computer, double-click the file. (Make sure Photo Jurni is closed first.)
The installer will be launched. Simply click Next on all dialogs until the installer has finished.
Once finished, reopen Photo Jurni. Your new QuickMix will be available to use.
MAC
The file will begin downloading.
Once the file has finished downloading, locate the file (usually on the desktop) and double-click it.
The file will create a new folder on the desktop. Open it and double-click on the QuickMix Mac Install icon.
When the installation has finished, open Photo Jurni. Your new QuickMix will be available for use.

Q: I'm receiving a QuickTime error reading? What do I do?

A: Please follow the instructions below for Photo Jurni.

Uninstall QuickTime:
1-Click on start
2-Click on Control Panel
3-Choose add/Remove software
4-Find QuickTime and uninstall

Verify QuickTime is fully uninstalled:
5-Click on start
6-Click on My Computer
7- Go to your C: Drive, then Program Files (or Program Files x86 if you have this)
8-Scroll through the Program Files and look for a QuickTime folder. It should be gone. If its not, right click on it and choose delete.

9-Re-install Photo Jurni:

This is just going re-install over the top of itself.
When you re-install Photo Jurni, it will install QuickTime Automatically, but it will help to set it up correctly.

10-Reboot your computer

If you have iTunes, you can now go to www.apple.com/quicktime and download and install the free QuickTime update for the latest version and your iTunes will work just fine.

A: After installing your Photo Jurni, you will be sent to a page where you will type in your e-mail address. It might say that your e-mail address is already taken. If you already have an account with us, just click on the Red X and exit out of this page and you will be able to finish your installation.

Q: What if I can't find a "Background paper" or "Embellishment" I have purchased from Photo Jurni?
A: In your Photo Jurni, click on "Backgrounds" or "Embellishments" then "Paper Packs" or "Embellishment Packs" then either "Designers" or "Manufacturers" then the designers name, and you should find all your purchases.

Q: What is a QuickMix?
A: A QuickMix is an album that our professional designers have created to help you get started on your perfect album. You can adjust, change, move or delete any part of the album with ease. You can also move the photo frames or re-size them or add as many photos as you would like. You may want to think of it as your own personal interior decorator, who would love to have you further personalize your space if you have time.

Q: What is a QuickPage?
A: A QuickPages come as one entire image, so you won't be able to edit or move any of the embellishments. To add your pictures, you will right click anywhere on this QuickPage and choose "Send to Back" and this will move this part of the page back and bring the photoboxes forward. You will then add your photo's and then right click on the page and choose "Bring to Front" and bring it to the front again. You can always add more embellishments to these pages, but you cannot move or delete the existing ones.

Q: How can I view two (2) pages together in Photo Jurni before printing my PhotoBook?
A: To view more than 1 page at once open your album and then go to "View" and click on "Page Windows". Then you can go to the bottom toolbar and click on which ever page that you want to bring up next to it and then you can adjust your windows so that you can see as close as you can.

A: It's true some PhotoBooks are made to last for the week, some a month. All our hardbound photo books are hand made using time tested techniques and superior materials creating a world class book. Q: How do I "run in Administrator Mode"?
1- Find Photo Jurni Icon on your desktop and Right Click on it.
2- Choose properties, then click on the Compatibility tab.
3- Check the box at the bottom to Run this program as administrator?
4- Check to see if any other boxes are checked on this page. All of the other boxes should NOT be checked. If one is checked, select it to uncheck it. Usually if one of these other boxes is checked, it causes the program to stop at Create page table.
5- Select Apply and the OK
6- Try Photo Jurni again (a reboot may be necessary)
